Job Description
As a Senior Buyer, you'll ensure efficient procurement of materials, technical components, and services for production and CAPEX initiatives. You will independently manage procurement, oversee supplier relationships, ensure contract compliance, and support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, contributing to process improvements across the group and its international subsidiaries.
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree (e.g. in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar)
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in international procurement, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven experience with technical sourcing, especially related to production equipment and CAPEX-related investments
- Strong negotiation skills, particularly in high-volume procurement scenarios
- Sound knowledge of contract and supplier management
- Proficient in SAP ERP systems, with hands-on experience and ideally exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation or rollout
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
