Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) - Career

Equifax is seeking a Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) to develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for testing software solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering roles, with expertise in scripting/programming, open-source load testing tools, and cloud architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering roles
• Extreme proficiency in scripting/programming with Java and Python
• Expert-level hands-on experience with open-source load testing tools: JMeter, k6, and Locust
• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, especially GCP, including services like GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, and Load Balancing
• Excellent knowledge of monitoring tools like Datadog, AppDynamics and the ability to set up comprehensive dashboards for performance reporting
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and database performance tuning
• Proven experience in defining complex workload models and non-functional requirements (NFRs)
