Job Description
We're looking for a Staff / Sr Staff Data Platform Engineer to design and build the infrastructure, interfaces, and patterns that make our data platform genuinely useful to the 50+ engineers who depend on it. This is a foundational role with significant latitude to shape what data platform infrastructure looks like here.
Requirements
- Design and implement data cataloging infrastructure
- Build lineage capabilities
- Define and implement consistent data access patterns and libraries
- Create self-serve tooling
- Contribute to the development of EQ's data ontology
- Partner with Data Engineers
- Collaborate across teams
- Stay current with the state of the art in data platform infrastructure
- Participate in on-call rotations
