Commercial Counsel

Equip is seeking a Commercial Counsel to lead the negotiation and execution of complex commercial transactions, including payor contracts and vendor agreements, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience, with a strong focus on commercial and transactional work.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including health payor contracts, SaaS vendor contracts, and other vendor contracts.
• Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare regulatory frameworks, including the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Physician Self-Referral Law (Stark), and the ability to apply them pragmatically to business objectives.
• Experience with commercial, federal, and state payors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
