Equus provides computer hardware, software, and related services to ISVs, OEMs, ODMs, and other computing technology companies. The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the design and development of compute products and overseeing the engineering team.
Requirements
- Oversee a team of engineers focused on compute hardware, software, and systems development
- Manage the full lifecycle of compute product development
- Provide technical direction in areas such as system architecture, hardware integration, and validation testing
- Establish and refine engineering processes, best practices, design standards, and quality assurance protocols
- Support field teams and customers by addressing technical escalations, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of product reliability and customer satisfaction
- Plan, prioritize, and manage development schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and deliverables
- Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent; create growth opportunities; and build a strong, diverse, high-performing team culture
- Manage department budgets, tools, resources, and capital expenditures related to product development projects
- Communicate project status, risks, opportunities, and outcomes clearly to executive leadership and other key stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in product development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure products meet applicable regulatory standards across all markets served
