Job Description
ERM is seeking a Principal Consultant, Air Quality - Engineering / Scientist to lead transformative projects and shape the future of environmental consulting. The role involves driving strategic growth, leading complex air permitting and compliance programs, and mentoring junior and mid-level staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of experience in air quality consulting and regulatory compliance
- Proven expertise in air permitting and climate change strategies
- Strong track record as a ‘seller/doer,’ winning and delivering large, strategic projects
- Deep understanding of local, state, and federal air regulations
- Established relationships within manufacturing, technology, oil & gas, or chemical sectors
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
