Job Description
ERMCO, the leading manufacturer of distribution transformers, is seeking a transformative and inspirational General Manager to lead their Athens, GA plant. This role focuses on operational excellence, leadership, culture building, and continuous improvement within a vertically integrated manufacturing environment. The company is dedicated to delivering resilient, sustainable power infrastructure and values employee and customer success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or related field (preferred).
- 15+ years in heavy manufacturing, with at least 10 years in senior leadership of manufacturing operations (transformer production a plus).
- Strong experience managing budgets, P&L, and capital investments.
- Union experience is highly preferred.
- Proven success leading cultural transformation and inspiring teams.
- Expertise in manufacturing operations, production planning, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
