Job Description
The Manager, Power Electronics Engineering plays a key role in the development of grid-connected and DC microgrid power electronics solutions, serving as a hands-on engineering leader. This role involves leading a team, driving system/subsystem trade-offs, overseeing development, and ensuring high performance and reliability of hardware and software solutions. The position requires strong leadership, collaboration, and a hands-on approach.
Requirements
- Lead the Power Electronics Engineering team in the design and development of advanced power conversion systems.
- Drive system and subsystem trade-off analyses to inform strategic hardware/software build vs. buy decisions.
- Oversee the creation of System and Subsystem Specifications and ensure traceability to high-level product requirements.
- Provide technical leadership in power conversion topologies including buck/boost, multi-phase/interleaved, DAB, LLC, and H-bridge architectures.
