Senior Solicitor - Litigation

Nottingham City Council is seeking a proactive and experienced Litigation and Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Barrister to join their team in Loxley House. The role involves handling a range of civil litigation tasks, including property, commercial, debt recovery, and claims. The position offers training opportunities and is part of a supportive, inclusive team within a large operation.

Requirements

• Solicitor, CILEX (with Civil Litigation Practice Rights) or Barrister, with substantial post qualification experience of Civil Litigation matters.
• Considerable experience of undertaking complex matters in respect of some of the areas of law referred to in the job description.
• Ability to organise own workload and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Supervisory experience.
