Job Description
Esri is seeking a Software Developer II to join their Map Viewer Analysis team, focused on enabling the wide adoption of geoprocessing tools and methods through web-based analysis. The role involves developing backend applications, enhancing web frameworks, expanding existing tools, and improving performance. Requirements
- 2+ years of Python programming experience
- Experience in C++ or other object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, or Python)
- Knowledge of Python modules like arcpy, pandas, requests, and pytest
- Proficiency in web backend development, including RESTful APIs
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
