Patient Service Representative - Sunset Hills - Phones/Scheduling

Esse Health is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative for our Gastroenterology Consultants office in Sunset Hills. The PSR will be responsible for making outbound calls to schedule patients for procedures and entering patient and procedure information correctly into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years of experience working with the public, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of different types of health insurance plans
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
