Job Description
Essen Health Care is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support chronic disease management for high-risk, high-need patients in New York City. As a representative of the Care Team, you will work directly with patients to address their medical and social needs, navigate clinical and community resources, and advocate for patient well-being. The role is part of a rapidly growing, 1,100-employee organization offering services across multiple medical specialties.
Requirements
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish (additional languages a plus)
- Medical Degree (International or National)
- Successfully completed Essen Medical Clinical training
- Good bedside/telephone-side manner
- Good communication and computer skills
- Good cooperative attitude
- Ability to work independently
