Job Description
Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Provides care in the Emergency Department, responds to emergency calls, and assists ambulance team in medical services and patient transportation.
Requirements
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
- Pediatric Advanced Life support (PALS) certification within 1 year
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 2 years
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years
- One year of Critical Care experience or Emergency Department experience in an ED with a yearly census greater than 20,000
