Student Nurse Apprenticeship - Sandstone

The Student Nurse Apprentice will assist patients with daily living activities and support nursing staff in various duties. They must be a current Minnesota resident and enrolled in a nursing program or pending RN licensure.

Requirements

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Measure and record patients' vital signs
• Help with patient positioning, transferring, and ambulation
• Monitor and report changes in patients' condition
• Perform basic clinical procedures
• Assist in preparing patients for medical examinations and procedures
• Set up and clean medical equipment and patient rooms
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
