Job Description
Etched is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Test and Production Engineer to bridge the gap between hardware, software, and production. The role focuses on ensuring seamless testing and production line readiness for their AI chip technology, collaborating with design and software teams to optimize test processes and improve yield and throughput. The position involves designing and implementing test stations, developing diagnostic tests, and optimizing test time and coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, production engineering, or a related role in the semiconductor or electronics industry
- Strong understanding of system-level and functional testing methodologies
- Experience working with ASIC design and software teams to develop and execute testing strategies
- Proven ability to architect production line setups, including end-to-end flow design and capacity planning
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methods for optimizing test time, yield, and throughput
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Hands-on experience with server-level testing and diagnostics
- Familiarity with automation tools and techniques for production lines
