Job Description
The Interior Design Sales Consultant will work closely with customers to create individualized design solutions and sell Ethan Allen products and services. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a design-related field and a minimum of one year of practical interior design experience. The consultant will be measured based on performance categories and benchmarks that contribute to the success of the Design Center and their own individual success.
Requirements
- Create design solutions consistent with customer's preference and budget
- Sell Ethan Allen's products and services
- Represent the Ethan Allen brand in all customer interactions
- Utilize grassroots marketing and social media platforms to develop and grow the business
- Educate customers about complimentary design service Ethan Allen provides
- Stay current on design and color trends to create fashionable design solutions
- Coordinate with team to provide exceptional service to customers
- Participate in corporate sponsored marketing and training programs
- Educate customers on all Ethan Allen sponsored finance options
- Contribute to development and upkeep of design center's portfolio
- Utilize corporate systems and technology to maximize efficiency
- Enter orders using retail point of sale system
- Work cooperatively to maintain a neat and orderly design center
- Develop business plans and grass roots marketing plans to exceed written goals
