Project Engineer - Electrical

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Project Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in building services design to join our Engineering Studio. The role involves delivering electrical design under supervision, supporting design of power distribution, lighting, and other systems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in electrical building services design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Exposure to at least one of the following sectors: data centres, industrial, energy, pharmaceutical, or commercial buildings.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Bluebeam; familiar with BIM coordination processes.
• Experience with Dialux, Relux, and Amtech (or equivalent) for electrical calculations and lighting design.
• Working knowledge of ETAP or other electrical system analysis tools (advantageous).
• Understanding of Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Guides, and IEC/BS/EN standards for electrical systems.
