Job Description
Euroclear is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Group Business Solutions (GBS) division. The role involves developing a new EB Settlement capability using Java microservices, cloud-native architecture, and Red Hat OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes. The engineer will collaborate with a team, deliver solutions that meet requirements, and contribute to a new platform supporting settlement workflows.
Requirements
- Demonstrable solutions design and development skills
- Strong systems development experience at all stages
- Strong hands-on Object-Oriented Design skills
- Strong core Java programming skills
- Experience of developing services/micro-services in Java
- Experience of developing containerised services using Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience of using Kafka ecosystem
- Experience of profiling and performance tuning
- Experience of Behaviour-Driven and Test-Driven development principles and skills
- Experience of Angular for building responsive and modular web applications
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), and data protection techniques.
