Finance Data Analyst/Scientist

Euromonitor International seeks a Finance Data Analyst/Scientist to join their team in Bengaluru, India. The role involves leading financial analysis, modelling, and scenario planning, as well as building and enhancing Power BI dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and financial controls, as well as advanced Power BI skills and experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or similar finance roles.

Requirements

• Finance Expertise
• ACCA / CIMA / ACA (or equivalent) qualified or part qualified
• Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, cost/margin analysis, financial controls, and month-end processes
• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, operational analytics, or similar finance roles
• Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query, M-language, and data modelling
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or similar
• Certifications in analytics, Power BI, SQL, Python, AI/ML, or cloud data platforms
• Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data
• Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis, modelling, and automation
• Familiarity with data lakehouse environments and modern cloud-based data platforms
• Predictive modelling and machine learning experience
• Familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills – able to explain & present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences
• Strong project management, able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
• High attention to detail and a logical, problem-solving mindset
