Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst fluent in English to work in Brussels, Belgium. The role involves conducting business process modelling, eliciting and documenting user and functional requirements, and participating in technical working groups. The successful candidate will have a university degree in IT and at least 15 years of relevant working experience in IT, including experience with requirements solicitation, business process management, and finance and accounting.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline
- Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT
- At least 8 years of experience with requirements solicitation
- At least 8 years of experience with business process management and BPMN
- At least 5 years of experience in finance and accounting
- Good knowledge of information systems matters
- Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes
- Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques
- Good knowledge of UML
- Good knowledge of wiki, collaborative sites
- Good knowledge of requirements solicitation
- Knowledge of information systems lifecycle and development methodologies
- Knowledge and experience of writing User Stories including acceptance criteria
- Knowledge of following tools: Atlassian Jira/Open Project, Atlassian Confluence/ xWiki, MS Teams and Signal
- Experience with the EC financial regulation, Data Protection by design and modelling tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architect or ARIS would be an asset
