ESA Graduate Trainee in Aerothermodynamics Engineering

The Aerothermodynamics and Flight Vehicles Engineering Section at ESA is seeking a graduate trainee to work on rarefied gas dynamics and gas-surface interaction. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on simulations and analysis of spacecraft systems, as well as development and validation of new gas-surface interaction models. The role is part of the ESA's Propulsion, Aerothermodynamics and Flight Vehicles Engineering Division.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or similar
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Previous experience of working in international teams (asset)
• Motivation, professional perspective, and career goals
• Nationality of one of the ESA Member States (or Associate Member or Cooperating State)
