The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of a teaching team and functions as a team leader or co-leader.
Requirements
- Treat all children, families, and staff with dignity, respect, and professionalism, reflecting the mission and values of the Bertha Alyce Early Childhood School and ERJCC.
- Maintain strict supervision of children at all times, ensuring sight and sound supervision for infants and toddlers, with accurate attendance and documentation of required records (e.g., incident reports, meals, naps, toileting/diapering).
- Create, maintain, and organize a safe, inviting, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that promotes physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth.
