Job Description
Evergreen Health is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to support Home Health, Hospice, and Palliative Care. The role involves handling phone calls, scheduling, intake and referral support, and managing insurance cases. The position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, quality improvement initiatives, and effective communication skills.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 2 years of clerical support experience with a minimum of 1 year working in a medical field setting.
- Proficient in Medical Terminology.
- Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge and familiarity of contracts, including terms and rates.
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Desirable: 2-3 years of medical field experience
