Back-end Developer (Node.js)

Evertech is seeking a skilled Back-end Developer to design, implement, and maintain server-side logic and databases for applications. The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing to the platform architecture. The developer will focus on building robust and scalable web services and improving existing applications.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (both frontend and backend).
• Proven experience building backend services with Node.js and common server frameworks (e.g., Express, Koa, Nest).
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework: React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB and/or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience designing and working with RESTful APIs.
• Comfortable using Git and branching workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable and efficient code.
