theSkimm is hiring a Social Producer to assist the social team in creating content and executing strategies across platforms that build audience, engender brand affinity, and support business goals. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience creating social content for a media brand, publisher, or consumer-facing company, and a deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

• Conceptualize, create, edit, and publish high-quality, social-first content
• Analyze performance metrics, audience behavior, and platform insights to inform creative decisions and drive growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Editorial, Newsletters, PR, Marketing, and Partnerships teams
• Occasionally present and interpret social performance data in team and department-wide meetings
