State Program Officer - Technical Support (EAII Advisors) is a full-time role that requires a postgraduate degree in public health, nutrition, health management, public administration, or allied fields. The role involves policy advocacy, government processes, program design and development, program management and field enablement, and knowledge management and documentation. The role requires strong navigation of government processes, interdepartmental coordination, and rapid problem-solving. Up to 40% in-state travel is expected for supervision and joint monitoring.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in public health, nutrition, health management, public administration, or allied fields
- 6–8 years’ experience in the development/health sector, including technical/advisory support embedded within Government systems
- Demonstrated experience working with GoUP departments (NHM/DoHFW, Education, WCD/ICDS) on maternal, child health, and nutrition programs
- Proven ability to navigate government processes (notes, letters, circulars, approvals, review mechanisms) and drive inter-department coordination
- Strong grounding in public-sector supply chains (planning, indenting, allocation, last-mile distribution) and routine program monitoring/reporting
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to convert data/evidence into concise, actionable decision notes
- Working proficiency in Hindi and strong English writing/presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time within Uttar Pradesh
