Evolution Mining, a leading gold producer in Australia and Canada, is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Leading Hand to support their Development Supervisor in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality underground development activities at Northparkes. The role involves leading by example, coordinating tasks, and ensuring work is completed to plan, alongside mentoring team members and maintaining a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Acting as 2nd to the Development Supervisor and supporting daily operations.
• Leading by example in safety, housekeeping, and work quality.
• Coordinating development activities including ventilation, ground support, services installation, and logistics.
• Mentoring and coaching crew members.
• Conducting pre-task risk assessments and participating in safety interactions.
• Liaising with other departments and contractors.
