Job Description
Excel Academy is seeking a High School Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will deliver effective, high-quality, rigorous college-preparatory instruction and foster the success of their students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years' teaching experience in an urban public school or charter school setting preferred
- License or certification not required prior to start date
- Must pass required MTEL(s) within the first year of employment
- Ability to teach High School students Science
- Ability to collaborate with department members
- Ability to design and implement rigorous assessments
- Ability to create a safe learning environment
