Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Archaeological Field Technician to assist archaeologists in the field with excavation, survey, and documentation of archaeological sites. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology, completion of an accredited archaeological field school, and proficiency with GPS, total stations, and digital data recording systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology
- Completion of an accredited archaeological field school
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Proficiency with GPS, total stations, and digital data recording systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Physical ability to hike long distances and carry loads up to 30 pounds
- Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and a positive attitude
