The Experience Senior Living Team is looking for a Wellness Nurse to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all aspects of decision making, serving as the “Charge Nurse” in the absence of the Executive Director and Director of Health & Wellness, and contributing to all aspects of medication management.
Requirements
- Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license
- Two (2) years’ experience in a senior living environment
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification
- Must successfully complete all company specified training programs
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with wellness team members, leadership team, residents, family members, vendor partners, referral sources and outside contacts
- Appearance is neat, clean, and according to dress code
- Able to demonstrate a high level of service delivery
- Able to make independent decisions
- Able to clearly present information through the spoken word
- Able to communicate with others in a warm and helpful manner
- Able to work cooperatively with a group of people to achieve goals and objectives
- Able to be tactful and maintain confidences
- Able to keep an open mind and change opinions based on new information
- Ability to work varied schedules to include weekends, evenings, and holidays
