Algorithms Engineer

We are seeking Algorithm Engineers to develop Systems and Software solutions in line with defined processes and industry standards for the Defence sector within Electrical and Embedded Systems. The role focuses on developing robust algorithms and integrating them into wider sonar/underwater acoustics systems. Collaboration and a commitment to inclusivity are key values.

Requirements

• Degree in an applicable Engineering Discipline
• Advanced C++ skills
• Signal processing algorithms for sonar/underwater acoustics
• Linear algebra and numerical methods background
• Experience optimizing algorithms for real-time execution
• Debugging and profiling in Linux environments
• Familiarity with safety-critical and defence assurance standards (DO-178C, Def Stan 00-055/00-056)
