Job Description
The Director of Advancement Services leads and oversees all Institutional Advancement systems, responsible for driving fundraising and engagement goals. This role involves overseeing gift processing, donor database management, prospect pipeline research, data reporting, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. The position works closely with other Director-level roles within the IA and IT departments to help grow the Exploratorium's donor base and maximize fundraising revenue.
Requirements
- Manage all aspects of donor and gift data.
- Oversee IA Department's Salesforce CRM.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of records.
- Provide training and guidance to staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to establish donor recognition.
- Liaise with Finance Department on gift reporting.
