Managing Environmental Scientist/Engineer (Ph.D.)

Exponent is seeking a Managing Environmental Scientist/Engineer to provide technical analysis on existing projects and business development efforts. The role involves working with a team to support clients and develop client relationships, as well as investing in professional development and attending conference presentations.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Civil, Environmental or Geologic Engineering, Environmental/Earth Science, Environmental Chemistry, or a related discipline
• Three to five (3-5) years of environmental litigation support experience with a consulting company
• 5+ years of non-academic experience in the field of environmental sciences (consulting experience a plus)
• Familiarity with environmental chemistry, contaminant fate and transport, and/or allocation is a plus
• Strong interest in career and professional development within a dynamic consulting environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills
• Detail oriented, able to work independently, and manage time effectively
• Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
