Job Description
Exponent is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join their team in Menlo Park, CA. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering with experience in concrete and cementitious materials. The role involves conducting field inspections, laboratory testing, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering with graduate level focus on concrete and cementitious materials
- 3+ years of industry experience post-PhD
- Excellent and creative problem solving ability
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as lead and work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
- P.E. or S.E. license or the ability to become licensed within two years in the State of California
