Job Description
As an Occupational Therapist with Extendicare, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating occupational rehabilitation programs for residents in a long-term care setting. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individual therapy treatment plans, and provide education and direction to care staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy
- Minimum of a Degree certification
- Active registration with ACOT and CAOT or eligible for same
- Experience working in long-term care preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet
- Experience with MDS 2.0 desirable
- Familiarity with software PointClickCare an asset
