Join EY as Nordic Senior Legal Counsel for Privacy and shape how we protect data and enable responsible innovation across our business. You’ll be part of a high-calibre Nordic Data Protection team working closely with experienced legal counsels from EY Nordics, backed by a global and regional network of world-class lawyers, active forums and continuous capability development.

Requirements

• Act as the Nordic Lead for Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), reviewing and providing strategic and operational legal advice on new systems, tools and processing activities
• Actively supporting and guiding business stakeholders in the completion of relevant GDPR documentation, including Records of Processing Activities and DPIA’s
• Leading a broad range of privacy initiatives, including implementing, monitoring and enforcing EY’s Data Protection framework, policies and Binding Corporate Rules across the Nordics
• Maintain close and continuous collaboration with global and regional data protection counsels to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing and alignment across jurisdictions.
• Ensure that Privacy by Design and by Default principles are embedded into business processes, digital initiatives and technology development
• Providing legal support on data breaches, data subject requests and other complex privacy matters
• Deliver training, guidance and awareness activities to strengthen privacy maturity across the Nordic organization
