Optical Technician / Optician

This Optical Technician/Optician role focuses on providing exceptional patient care and maximizing retail sales within a medical setting. The technician will dispense and fit glasses and contacts, working under the direction of optometrists and ophthalmologists. This is a customer-facing position requiring a high level of interaction with patients and effective communication skills.

Requirements

• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in customer/patient interaction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• ABO and NCLE certifications preferred, not required.
• Background check required.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and work in the US.
