Job Description
The Senior Financial Accountant will independently handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoice processing, payment transactions, and financial statement preparation in accordance with HGB. They will also collaborate with Controlling for ad hoc reports, participate in internal projects, and optimize accounting processes. The ideal candidate possesses relevant professional experience, expertise in accounting software (DATEV), and a strong understanding of commercial law.
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a tax clerk or completed studies with a focus on accounting / taxes
- Several years of relevant professional experience, e.g. in a tax consultancy or in an accounting department
- Solid expertise in payment transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly and annual financial statements
- Confident handling of the accounting software DATEV is a must
- Very good knowledge of commercial law (HGB), IFRS knowledge is a plus
- Very high quality standards for work results as well as reliability and sense of responsibility
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, is required
- Fluent German and very good English
