HV - Quality Specialist

Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking a Quality Specialist to join their team. The role involves internal auditing of company procedures and processes, processing of Quality Assurance documentation, and reviewing certifications. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, computer knowledge, and experience in Quality Assurance and/or Control.

• Must be adaptable, flexible professional who embraces teamwork and can work independently
• Working knowledge of quality system requirements, such as ISO 9001 or MIL-I-54208
• Demonstrated Quality Assurance auditing experience; lead auditor qualification is preferred
• 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Control preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of software (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.)
• Familiarity with lean, six sigma, and/or continuous improvement principles is preferred
• Experience in Export/Import/ITAR/ECCN/EAR preferred
• Knowledge of government contracts and NOFORN
