Senior Program Manager

Fairbanks Morse Defense is a leading marine defense contractor seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead program direction, achieve project financial performance, and ensure customer satisfaction. The Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for overall program direction, coordinating with Sales and Bids & Proposals groups, and managing the transition from the proposal phase to the contract phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, project management, or other related discipline
• 8+ years of demonstrated successful project execution experience
• Minimum of 2+ years of program execution experience
• Project Management certification
• Ability to lead an indirect team of 5+ individuals
• Strong business acumen and financial data analysis skills
• Excellent English language communication skills
• Ability to develop creative solutions to commercial problems
• Demonstrated resiliency to adjust and thrive in a changing environment
• Business power user IT skills (MS Office & Office 365, MS Project)
• U.S. Citizenship
