Laundry Aide/Housekeeping PRN

The Laundry & Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role includes both cleaning resident rooms and facility areas, as well as managing the laundering of resident clothing and facility linens.

Requirements

• Sorts, washes, dries, folds, and irons linens and resident clothing.
• Cleans and sanitizes resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and other areas of the facility.
• Labels and removes infectious waste bags and containers in accordance with safety protocols.
• Performs routine cleaning of laundry equipment (washing machines, dryers, etc.), including removing detergent build-up and cleaning lint traps.
• Ensures linens are properly stocked, organized, and returned to laundry areas, maintaining an efficient flow of materials.
• Ensures punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts to maintain facility cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
