Job Description
Family Service Association is seeking a part-time Van Driver to transport adults in their Adult Day Health program in the Mashpee, MA location. This role involves safe transport of participants, maintaining vehicle safety, and upholding strict safety protocols. It's a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday position requiring 6:30 - 9:30am shift and 1:00 - 5:00pm shift. The position is split shift based.
Requirements
- Transport program participants according to established safety rules and road regulations.
- Secure and maintain all required safety equipment.
- Follow Vehicle Maintenance Protocol and report any service needs.
- Complete a Daily Pre and Post Trip Inspection Form.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience with either elders or the disabled (ADH).
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- CPR and First Aid certified.
- Ability to safely push, pull, load, and unload participants requiring wheelchairs.
- Ability to work with others as part of a team.
- MA State CORI check, CPS check and company paid, pre-employment physical, drug testing and be enrolled in our drug and alcohol testing consortium.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
