Job Description
Fanatics Betting and Gaming is seeking an AI Engineer to develop and deploy the foundational software for Next-Gen Recommendation and Autonomous AI Agents. This role involves building conversational AI models, designing agent frameworks, and collaborating within a fast-paced startup environment. The focus is on providing scalable, reliable, and user-friendly experiences for internal stakeholders and fans.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years focused on AI/ML systems
- Hands-on experience building and deploying models in production
- Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask) and strong-typed languages (Java, Go, or C#)
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of AI agents and frameworks (LangChain, Ray RLlib, custom orchestrators)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, and data pipelines
