Job Description
Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a Data Engineer III to develop, deploy, and manage their data architecture. This role involves building scalable data solutions for internal stakeholders, building and scaling data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver an efficient platform at scale. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, enjoys problem-solving, and has a strong foundation in data manipulation and statistical analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Skills writing SQL queries
- Familiarity with data languages including R or Python
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing principles
- Solid analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Intellectually curious and interested in solving difficult problems
