Job Description
Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager (Sr. SEM) to lead engineering teams focused on delivering an exceptional Bet Experience. The role involves owning critical parts of their Bet Experience platform, ensuring operational excellence, consistent delivery, and long-term strategic impact. This is a pivotal position supporting operations, product partnerships, and navigating ambiguity in a fast-growing digital sports betting industry.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams
- Experience leading teams or contributing in a Java, AWS ecosystem is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to own strategic direction while diving deep into tactical execution
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Experience leading teams through highly complex, ambiguous, and cross-functional challenges
