Job Description
The Federation of American Scientists (FAS) is seeking a Director of Emerging Tech Workforce and Inclusive Growth Fellow for a 24-month term within a state government. This fellowship supports the development and placement of emerging scientific and technical talent, focusing on high-need jobs in areas like IT, life sciences, and aerospace. The role will contribute to the state’s economic growth and bolster its innovative workforce ecosystem.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with emerging technologies (AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing)
- Systems thinking for workforce pipelines and resource allocation
- Strong analytical & communication skills
- Stakeholder engagement and project management experience
