This Intellectual Property Prosecution Paralegal position in Hackensack, NJ, requires a detail-oriented legal professional with 5+ years of experience in the field. Responsibilities include preparing and filing trademark, copyright, and patent applications, conducting due diligence, and assisting with IP-related transactions. The role involves working with international counsel and maintaining a docket of deadlines.
Requirements
- Prepare and file U.S. trademark and copyright applications.
- Communicate with clients regarding trademark status.
- Conduct preliminary trademark clearance searches.
- Prepare and file TTAB petitions and motions.
- Conduct due diligence on trademarks and IP-related transactions.
- Assist with registration of designs.
- Maintain a docket of IP deadlines.
- Experience with trademark docketing software systems is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of MSOffice and Relativity.
- Knowledge of iManage a plus.
