Maintenance Technician

Rugby Manufacturing is looking for a welder to maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience with repair, electrical schematics, and PLC and relay controls.

Requirements

• Successfully passing forklift program
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately read job specifications and parts descriptions
• Ability to work with the business operating system to obtain information and locate job assignments
• Must be a team player working with co-workers and other departments
• Must work in a safe manner following safety procedures
• Prompt and reliable attendance is necessary to meet customer needs
• Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to learn multiple operations within a job area and regularly rotate jobs
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Experience with hydraulic ironworkers, brake presses, plasma cutters, cranes, welders, and lift trucks
