Printed Circuit Board Designer II

Federal Signal has an immediate opening for a Designer II based at our University Park, Illinois facility. This position will be responsible for performing complex design tasks under the general guidance and supervision of a senior designer or engineer.

Requirements

• Associates degree in engineering or related technical discipline
• 5-8 years of detail and design experience using the appropriate 3D CAD modeling software
• Knowledge of OrCAD Schematic Capture software
• Knowledge of Cadence PCB Editor 17.2, 17.4 and 22.1 software
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Solidworks software
• Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and electrical components
• Some mechanical aptitude is required to create panel array layouts when needed and board fabrication drawings
