Sheetmetal Journeyman (2:30pm - 11:00pm)

Work from drawings, layouts, and sketches. Plan and lay out work, determine and select materials and gauges of metals. Set up and operate various types of metalworking equipment.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Sheet Metal Journeyman
• Knowledge of hand working procedures in the fabrication of Sheet metal parts
• Knowledge of welding procedures (Stick, Mig, Tig and Spot welding)
• Able to follow bill of operations and respective instructions
• Able to make economical use of materials
• Use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and forming tools
